Kingston Ram For Mac

I've heard that there is a cheaper way to upgrade the RAMs on the iMac. The memory is a Kingston brand or something similar if existent. To buy it from apple (4GB) it's about 850$, the Kingston suppose to be much more cheaper. It's important to me that the installation (hardware&software as well) will be not so complicated, I'm a regular user, not a robot that knows only to open safari but also not a geek, or in other words, that I'll not have to come & cry on the forum Last thing, that thing keep the warranty in validity?

P.s.:sorry for any spelling mistakes. I've heard that there is a cheaper way to upgrade the RAMs on the iMac. The memory is a Kingston brand or something similar if existent.

Kingston Ram Mac Pro

How about 4GB of Kingston ValueRAM for $100, after two $8 mail-in rebates? I'm looking for RAM for the iMac I just ordered. The buy.com site doesn't say what the warranty is - is it lifetime on these? Any comments? NOTE: This appears to be labeled as 'laptop' memory?
