Hi This has happened due to overcharging of the MP3 player's battery or it may be a software issue as well. Connect the player with the computer and check if the computer is recognizing the device. Make sure you are able to add/delete dat into mp3 player after the connection. If not then it is a hardware issue. You'll need to check whether the battery of the MP3 player is swollen. To check the battery you'll need to open the back of the mp3 player. If the battery is not swollen then it might be due to burning of an internal component due to heating/excess current caused by over-charging.
